Fall
Today is a wished for fall day. the colours are vibrant. thanks partly to a cool ( not Freezing cold) and sunny dry past month. The farmers have been busy taking advantage of the same weather. Behind us this year was Corn ( maize). all gone now; just bare field.
For the first time I have put the hot tub to sleep for the winter; it was not getting nearly enough use and the cover has become toast ( replacement is close to 1000 dollars!)
Today we are celebrating Jared's tenth birthday, at Tom's house. i will be posting some pix as and when I have downloaded some ; including some Hallowe'en ones, I hope.
I intend to keep updating this blog especially for you non Facebook guys ( and dolls ).Good intentions.

Wrap up
Leaving Sydney in the Autumn and arriving home in the Spring ( with 2 robins in the Back Garden this morning to prove it) .
The trip home is expectedly rather tedious. The first leg across the pacific was very bumpy. LA is , was, as dirty as usual and the staff there are generally a bit surly. We obtained a wheelchair for Susan which facilitated the transfer between terminals. Neverthless, Northwest managed to lose barbara's Guitar and Didgeridoo, temporarily at least. Latest news , courtesy of the net, is it will arrive this morning.she was understandably alarmed when we arrived at Detroit, and no sign of either guitar or didge.
There is a frosty morning here, with sunny skies and a clean house.Unpacking is underway, with piles of laundry to be done.
We all enjoyed our stay in Sydney and are so appreciative of the time we got to spend with family.
Barbara has fallen for all things Australian and Tyson has always had a yen for it. So don't be surprised to see either of them again on Ozzy soil.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Jack, May, Ruth and her family for their warm reception. And our pleasure at catching up with Lillian after all these years.
All of us will have memories to treasure for the rest of our lives.
It should be said there is an invitation to each of you to visit us here at any time.
Love you all
Robert, Susan, Barbara and Tyson
